I admit to being a 'girlie-girl' in my love for shoes. I love all kinds of shoes; heels, flats, stillettos, booties, sandals, wedges, kitten heels, etc. I love them all.
I did however, find the limit in my love for all things footwear when I was flipping through a magazine, and came across a picture of a four year old in a pair of heels.
Shoes are special, and guys may not get this, but here is a little look inside the mind of a girl... Sometimes the choice of footwear is significant to what is going on in the life of a girl. Grown up shoes are for grown up occasions, and a girls' first pair of heels are a big deal, just like your first bra, or getting your ears pierced.
A lot of little girls love to play dress up, and most of us at some time or another have tried on our mom's shoes, but high heels and diapers are a definite 'fashion don't'.
Sometimes we make our little girls grow up too fast. In my world, four year old feet belong in white knee-sock and mary janes, not inside high heels.
